Please join Essential Access Health and expert speaker Monica Munoz, RN, MPH (Manager- Clinical Guidance & Nursing Unit, LADPH) for an update on syphilis in women, in pregnancy, and congenital syphilis. This one hour training will include a presentation of current epidemiology of syphilis and congenital syphilis; a discussion of syphilis symptoms, staging and treatment, as well as how syphilis can present differently in pregnant and non-pregnant women; and discussion of approaches to address syphilis in women and congenital syphilis in District 2/South Los Angeles.
