The Los Angeles LGBT Center is looking for 30 individuals who are passionate and self-motivated about Community Organizing, Advocacy, and Leadership Development with their community. The Community Health Ambassadors has been developed to empower communities of color, specifically those that identify as Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Gay/Bi men.
The Community Health Ambassador Retreat will be from Friday, March 23 (12:00PM)–Sunday, March 25, 2018(4:00PM) at UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center
The Community Health Ambassadors are key to the success of breaking down barriers within their communities. Center Ambassadors will implement change and awareness in their everyday walks in life as LGBTQIA folks of color. On this retreat expect trainings, open discussions, fellowship, and tools of empowerment.
Premium food, lodging, and transportation will be provided for FREE for all approved applicants.
