400 Years: Reflections on Lessons Learned & Imagining Our Futures

On August 26th, 2019 at The California Endowment in Downtown Los Angeles, we convene one of the only Reproductive Justice conferences centered on the needs and experiences of Black women & girls. 400 Years: Reflections on Lessons Learned & Imagining Our Futures intends to gather the lessons learned from our history, the battles fought, the victories won, the joys shared and the simple resilience demonstrated to move forward. Participants will then be asked to imagine health and wellness for Black women & girls, name how it looks and feels, then plant seeds now, which will go on to shape #OurRJStory for generations to come.
