Women On C.U.E.: Creatively Unifying for Empowerment

Good Afternoon,

I hope that all is well with you. My name is Anthony Singleton, and I am the Health Educator & Outreach Coordinator for the AMAAD Institute (Amrming Minorities Against Addiction and Disease) and I would love to invite you to our event this Friday called Women on C.U.E

About this Event

On November 22, 2019, from 7-9 p.m., the AMAAD Institute and UCLA Hub for Health Intervention, Policy and Practice) in partnership with the California HIV/AIDS Policy Research Centers (CHPRC) will proudly present:

Women On C.U.E.: Creatively Unifying for Empowerment

In recognition of November as Transgender Awareness Month and to celebrate the lives and contributions of transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals in the Black LGBTQ+ community.

As part of AMAAD's W.O.R.D. series: Writing Our Reality Down, this event will bring music, song, dance, spoken word, and other forms of art and expression from our trans-sisters, trans-brothers, and allies as they highlight the uniqueness of their experiences.

Join us for great entertainment, music, free food, and education and dialogue surrounding the experiences and contributions of Black transgender people and their role in shaping policies that affect them.

This event will be hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Renberg Theater located at 1125 North McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
