BEAM Presents “Taking Off the Cape To Save Our Lives,” an online workshop which will include tools, solutions and strategies to support Black women in countering the Black Superwoman Syndrome. Featuring numerous Black women wellness practitioners, including BEAM’s own Dr. Dionne Bates and Isabel Shawel and special guest Emma Foulkes; this series is designed to not only highlight the challenges of the syndrome but how Black women are taking off the cape and reclaiming their full humanity.
