The Strategic Communications Working Group is reorganizing to be more representative of the Community Advisory Coalition (CAC) itself with a collaborative communications model that pools our collective talents and expertise to reach more people about STD prevention in South LA. 

To give some framework for the vision of the group, here’s a rough sketch:

Strategy:

Develop a sustainable, strategic communications collaborative of organizations working in South LA that promotes our interconnectedness and elevates STD awareness while accomplishing goals for individual campaigns and events through coordinated, collective efforts. 

Goal:

To elevate community conversations about sexual and reproductive health and STDs through a collaborative communications approach.

Objectives:

1. Leverage and share organizational expertise and existing communication content, channels and resources of key partners to expand communication reach with the wider community.
2. Develop a movement producing communications effort that unites what we all do behind a simple, singular campaign to ignite and inspire a following that supports healthier sexual and reproductive health choices.
3. Promote the individual efforts of each contributing member organization to increase visibility and communication effectiveness.
