Special opportunity/workshop for LAUSD students called "GET YOUR LIFE" Workshops for Black and Latino Teens. The workshop is designed for teens ages 16-19. See attached postcard. Our community-based partner REACH LA will be facilitating the intervention. Parent consent is NOT REQUIRED. The workshops are also only facilitated in English.

There is a $200 incentive for attending.

DESCRIPTION: The intervention is a two-day workshop that empowers and transforms youth to make better health decisions, especially around their sexual health. It provides these youth with a safe space and links them to future services.

EVENT/INTERVENTION: "Get Your Life" - The workshop is a sexual health evidence-based intervention designed for young black and Latino teens who may identify as gay, bisexual, pansexual, questioning, queer, curious, same gender loving... basically, someone who may not identify as straight/heterosexual.

DATES: July 8-9, 2017 (must attend both days)

AUDIENCE/POPULATION: Black and Latino (or Latino mixed)

AGE: 16-19-Year-old Teens

TRANSPORTATION: Bus tokens or other transportation can be provided
