On Saturday June 24, 2017 WeCanStopSTDsLA partnered with the Community Engagement and Sexual Health Ambassadors from L.A. Condom and GetPrEPLA to participate in the Crenshaw Health Fest. This event was hosted by Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas and Baldwin Hills Crenshaw to provide free eye exams, health screenings, and giveaways at a fun community event. WeCanStopSTDsLA Project Analyst Asha Moore, Youtuber Elijah King, Esq., and Sexual Health Ambassador Ariel Garcia, engaged participants with games, sexual and reproductive health information, interviews, and of course, candy, condoms, and swag items.
