The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is excited to announce its 3rd annual Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) conference.
Due to increased visibility of transgender issues, strong social movements, and activism by transgender individuals, there is a demand for sensitive, appropriate, and evidence-based care. This conference, targeted to professionals in the fields of medicine, psychology, social work, nutrition, and nursing, will provide an opportunity for participants to increase their knowledge and skills to serve transgender and gender non-binary (TGNB) adolescents and young adults. The conference will include the voices of transgender and gender non-binary professionals and youth as well as allies who are experts in their field.
