If you’re looking for up-to-date information about sex education in schools, please join us at the April 2019 CAC meeting! A guest speaker from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) will discuss the California Healthy Youth Act, which requires California public schools to provide comprehensive and inclusive sex education.  

This exciting presentation will include:

• An overview of the CA Healthy Youth Act
• An update on current implementation efforts

What are my parking options for the event?

Please arrive early and park in the area/structure off Exposition Park Drive near the California Science Center. Follow signs for the Natural History Museum to get to the meeting space. Be sure to let the attendant know that you are visiting the Office of Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas' to avoid paying for parking. The office is located on the South Lawn of the Natural History Museum.
