Starting Wednesday, May 15th! Anani Culture Healing Arts Center will be hosting and facilitating a wellness workshops series to commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month in May The series will focus on how to use the healing arts of African Drumming, African Dance, Yoga and Meditation for mental wellness and well-being. We believe the healing arts can be used as a vehicle for empowerment, healing and mental clarity. Each class will feature special guest instructors from the South LA community. We will provide mental health resources and light snacks. All of the classes will be free and everyone is encouraged to participate. We will have a closing celebration performance in Leimert Park to conclude our series.
